INDIANAPOLIS – The Riley Foundation, the BRVA, and The Vogue, welcome back the Taste of Broad Ripple, coming to one of Indianapolis’ most vibrant and historic neighborhoods. This action-packed one-day festival will bring the best local food, beer and live music on the open streets of Broad Ripple Village this summer on Saturday, June 16, 2018, from 3:00-10:00 PM.
HOME TO AN ECLECTIC MIX of local restaurants, independently owned shops and renowned bars and brewpubs, Broad Ripple is recognized as one of the most creative areas of Indianapolis, shaped by its nearby parks, the Central Canal, the Monon Trail and the winding White River. The Taste of Broad Ripple will embody no less, representing the essence of the only cultural district outside of downtown. Come experience the flavor that is (the Taste of) Broad Ripple!
AN ALL AGES EVENT with thousands expected to attend, Taste of Broad Ripple will feature several interactive areas, including a Chef’s Night Off Tent with a Broad Ripple Chef’s Cook Off from 3:30-5:30 p.m.; the Riley Kid’s Area open from 3:00-6:30 p.m. managed by City Moms, with a Colts Interactive Museum, face painting, lots of interactive inflatable games, HotBox Kid’s Pizza Tent where kids craft their own mini pizzas, and the School of Rock stage showcasing a School of Rock student band lineup!
FOR ADULTS we’ll have live music on the Main Stage all day, 30 food vendors and assorted non-food vendors, a Yuengling Beer Garden open from 3:00-9:30 p.m. featuring Yuengling and Sun King, interactive street performers, The VinoMobileBar featuring select wines, and the Southern Wine & Spirits Cocktail Tent with a host of assorted cocktails with Tito's vodka and Cuervo tequila! Our goal is to create a fun and flavorful atmosphere for all ages!.
HEADLINING THE MAIN STAGE will be the powerhouse funk band The Main Squeeze, and local favorites Bigfoot Yancey, Clint Breeze & The Groove and The Stampede String Band. On the School of Rock Stage will be a host of aspiring rock talent, from grade school to high school.
